We have partnered with New Directions for their expertise in the provision of behavioral health services. New Directions manages authorizations for our members, performs all utilization and case management activities, as well as ABA case management.
New Directions also engages with our providers to improve quality outcomes. New Directions’ team of behavioral health professionals is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist in obtaining the appropriate level of care for your patients.
The switch from Magellan to New Directions for authorization services does not affect member care. Members continue to have access to a robust behavioral health network and other services to support their care and treatment.
